High school seniors have a new reason to speak up—literally.
My Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), the parent company of 88.1 myFM, is offering a $2,500 Community First Scholarship to one graduating student planning to continue their education.
To qualify, applicants must live in our listening area, and plan to attend college, university, or a trade program.
Operations Manager Bob Perreault says our students are the community leaders of tomorrow.
Perreault says to apply, students must submit a 1- to 2-minute audio or video recording answering the question: “What does community mean to you?”
The winner will be chosen based on the message in their recording. Applications and recordings must be sent in by June 3 at 7 p.m. EST.
