Queer Connection Lanark is looking forward to Pride 2025 in the month of June.
Spokesperson Elizabeth Snyder says Queer Connection Lanark County has been around since 2014, and shares a common goal with Pride months held around the world, and here at home.
One of the most popular attractions of the month is the parade.
The parade starts at the Stewart School at 3:30 pm, under the theme “We won’t hide our pride.”
Other events throughout the month include a trivia night, a pride square dance, and a pride board games night. Events will be taking place across the county. We’ll keep you up to date through our What’s Going On feature throughout the month.
Also of note, Lanark County will raise the Progress Pride Flag in Perth on June 2nd at the County Administration building in Perth at 5pm.
