Some cooler weather and a few rain drops didn’t stop people from flocking to Sirens Boatworks in Merrickville for an antique wooden boat show on Saturday May 31st.
Dozens of gleaming floating artworks from yesteryear filled the shores and docks in testaments to loving and painstaking restorations and upkeep.
Sirens owner Andrew Lee was pleased with the turnout.
Lee spoke of the challenges in bringing these crafts back to former glory.
That large pleasure craft filled the huge hanger-style workshop at Sirens.
