St. John Catholic High School in Perth marked a major milestone with its 25th Annual Relay for Life, raising a record-breaking $117,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Held on June 9, 2025, the event brought the school and wider community together for a day of walking, music, remembrance, and celebration.
Students, staff, and families came out in force, with major support from volunteers, the Catholic School Council, the Smiths Falls Knights of Columbus, and the Perth Fire Department.
The Survivor Garden, lovingly prepared by Donna Brady, became a symbol of strength and memory.
Organized by Dave Peters and the Relay Committee, the event highlighted what can happen when a community unites for a cause.
