More than a thousand runners descended on Perth this past Saturday for the return of the Perth Kilt run, which sees participants don a kily, and hit the pavement of the town.
88.1 myFM’s Grant Deme took part in this year’s event, and was there when some of the runners of the first race of the day wrapped things up.
The main event of the 11th Perth Kilt Run was the 8k, or Classic 5 mile. Grant took part in it, and brought our listeners along as he began to run.
The event draws runners from across the region and beyond. This year 1,057 took part across eight events.
The run also raised more than $4,100 for local charities.
