The EOJHL Board of Governors unanimously voted to remove the Brockville Bulldogs from the league on Friday.
It was just announced April 25th the Bulldogs, formally the Tikis, would return to the EOJHL for the first time after a two year hiatus after the sale of the team.
In a statement, the EOJHL says they remain committed to maintaining a strong and sustainable junior hockey environment for all its member clubs and participants.
The EOJHL will continue as a 13 team league for next season and have declined to add further comment.
