The Town of Smiths Falls has officially reopened its community splash pad—just weeks after announcing it would be closed for the summer.
Town staff say the splash pad may be showing its age, but thanks to some elbow grease and a lot of care, it’s back in action for the season.
While a full replacement is expected in the near future, the current pad has been fixed up to give families one more round of fun.
Parents are reminded to keep a close eye on children while visiting. The surface may be slippery, and some parts of the equipment are showing wear.
The splash pad is located in Lower Reach Park and is free to use.
Updates will be shared on the Town’s official social media pages.
