Ottawa Bluesfest continues its 10 day music festival at Lebreton Flats.
After a successful opening week with performances from the likes of Shania Twain, Turnstile, Hozier and more, week two continues.
Here’s Joe Reilly with Ottawa Bluefest.
Green Day headlines Friday while acts Daughty and Papa Roach will headline Saturday night, with Kaytranada as the main act on Sunday to close out the event.
Reilly says there’s something for everyone.
During this heat wave it’s important for concert-goers to stay cool. Reilly says there’s no shortage of options.
He recommends bringing one or two empty water bottles to fill at their water stations.
When it comes to transportation, Reilly advises people to park near one of Ottawa’s LRT stations, and take the light rail to the festival.
There’s virtually no parking at the event, and gates open at 5 p.m.
