The Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) is now accepting applications to fill a trustee vacancy following the resignation of local representative Carole Dufort.
In accordance with the Education Act, the Board of Trustees will receive applications from qualified individuals until 4:00 p.m. on August 11, 2025.

Applicants must include the following:
- A resumé or summary outlining past accomplishments, community involvement, and relevant experience
- A letter of intent explaining why you wish to serve and how you would contribute to the Board’s effectiveness (Note: Applications may be made available to the public upon request)
- Three community references
All applications will be reviewed and a shortlist will be created. Final interviews will take place during a public session of the Board of Trustees meeting on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
The successful applicant will be officially sworn in at the same meeting and will serve the remainder of the current term, ending November 14, 2026.
