As part of their continuing efforts to get residents’ feedback on how Mississippi Mills council oversees the operations of the municipality, their annual Budget Survey is now open.
The final vote on next year’s budget won’t happen until December, but staff and council have already been busy preparing the numbers. Their resident survey opened on August 1st and continues till the end of the month. Printed versions of the survey are available at the libraries and municipal office.
It asks participants to rank municipal services, such as recreation facilities, road maintenance, and parks among others in order of importance to them and to rank past service delivery. A final vote on the 2026 budget is expected in December.
