Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands & Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark says the Ford government continues to work to land a pipeline in Ontario.
One of the ports involved could also be very close to home too.
The MPP says to have an east-west energy corridor that has provinces working together would provide energy security in the face of tariffs.
He says its a long-term project, but again a country-uniting one as western oil is sent to the east to be refined on Canadian soil.
He is optimistic that provincial governments can come together to work together.
