Lanark County OPP have charged a 32-year-old woman following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Police say officers responded to a disturbance on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, just before 9:30 a.m. Officers spoke with all parties before arresting the accused.
The woman is facing charges of assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and four counts of assault. She has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, Aug. 25, 2025.
Police are not releasing the woman’s name to protect the identity of the victim.
