Today’s the day: The Falls Food Hub in Smiths Falls offers community meals every Monday at Hanley Hall on McGill Street. The doors open at 11, with the meal served at noon. All are welcome. Meantime, in Perth, The Table Community Food Centre is offering Community Meals every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4:30 to 6pm at their Gore St. Location.
There’s Public skating at the Smiths Falls Memorial Community Centre from 11 until 11:50 this morning. Adult Shinny takes place tomorrow at noon.

Looking ahead – the CCHL Season begins Thursday with the Carleton Place Canadians visiting Cornwall at 7:30. Then on Friday, The Smiths Falls Bears open their season against the Pembroke Lumber Kings at the Bear’s Den. also at 7:30.
The EOJHL has Carleton Place heading to Ottawa tomorrow for a date with the Jr. Canadians at 7:20. The Jr. Bears welcome Embrum at 7:30 on Thursday. And Friday sees the Perth Blue Wings home to Glengarry at 7:30.
