The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital (PSFDH) has welcomed new leadership following its Annual Meeting in June, highlighting a strong focus on safety, quality care, and the patient experience.
Board Chair Dr. Warren Hollis reflected on the hospital’s 2024/25 achievements, noting its ongoing commitment to delivering excellent care while building a workplace people are proud to support.
Three new members have joined the Board of Directors: Marie-Anik Gagne, a health policy and evaluation expert with over 30 years of healthcare leadership; Caryn Langstaff, who brings 18 years of clinical and administrative experience; and Axelle Pellerin, Executive Director of the 1000 Islands Addictions Treatment Centre with more than two decades in healthcare and public service.
To prepare for their roles, the new directors completed an in-depth orientation session in August covering hospital strategy, clinical services, and governance.
Executive officers are Dr. Warren Hollis (Chair), Kenneth Clupp (Vice Chair), and Michael Cohen (Secretary).
