The opening of an affordable housing building in Smiths Falls, thanks in part to Carebridge
For 50 years Carebridge Community Support has lent a hand to local seniors, championed affordable housing efforts, and providing programs to those who need them.
It wouldn’t have been possible without collaboration with other groups, but getting volunteers can be a challenge, according to Community Development Coordinator Violet Bova in conversation with our Lynda D’Aoust.
Last night they celebrated seniors with a feature film.
Manager of Senior Services Jenni Poulin gave Lynda details.
The day also included a short walk and reception at the Almonte Seniors Centre.
