Carleton Place council got their first look at the final version of their transit feasibility study last month.
Arman Matti of consulting firm Parsons described the first component of the preferred two stage approach.
This commuter service would run Monday through Friday.
The second part would be a local shuttle as Arman explains.
Proposed fares for the commuter run to Ottawa were $9 per one-way trip and the costs to riders on the in-town runs would be $3 per one-way trip.
Total annual net cost estimates for the Town ranged from $431K to $468K. The committee voted to accept the report without action.
