The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 38-year-old man from Drummond-North Elmsley following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Officers began the probe on Monday, October 6, 2025. The accused faces charges of criminal harassment, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
He is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth at a later date.
The OPP have not released the man’s name to protect the identity of the victim.
