A Tay Valley Township woman is facing impaired driving-related charges after Ontario Provincial Police responded to a vehicle in the ditch.
Lanark County OPP say officers were called to Bolingbroke Road on September 29 around 1 p.m. The driver was arrested at the scene and taken to the detachment in Perth for testing.
Police say 61-year-old Angela Pensa is charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand, and novice driver – blood alcohol concentration above zero.
She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Perth on October 27.
Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle impounded for seven.
