The province of Ontario is now offering a $50,000 reward for information that could help solve the disappearance of Robbie Thomson, who went missing in the Smiths Falls area two years ago.
Thomson was reported missing on October 19, 2023, but investigators believe he may have disappeared sometime between October 12 and 18. He would now be 36 years old.
Police describe Robbie as 6’2” (188 cm), with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes. He is known to have frequented areas in Smiths Falls and Prescott.
The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Smiths Falls Police Service, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, continue to investigate. Search efforts have included the Emergency Response Team, Aviation Services, and Canine Units.
