The Upper Canada District School Board will keep its top leadership team in place for another year.
Trustees Jamie Schoular and Lynda Johnston have been acclaimed as Chair and Vice-Chair for the 2025–2026 school year, marking their third straight term leading the board.
The pair was selected during the board’s annual organizational meeting, where trustees vote on who will guide governance for the coming year. Schoular and Johnston have said their focus remains on supporting students, strengthening classrooms and maintaining strong fiscal responsibility across the district.
The board says stable leadership helps ensure continued progress on its long-term goals, including student achievement and strategic planning.
