Here’s what’s up!
Today, the Scottish Country Dancers return to McMartin House in Perth. Sessions run from 9:30 to 11:30 this morning at 125 Gore Street East. New dancers are always welcome, and you can reach out to Simone at 613-264-2767 for details.
Tomorrow, Friday, there’s plenty happening across the region.
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 475 in Toledo hosts Friday Night Wings from 3 to 7 p.m. at 320 County Road 8. Phone orders open at noon at 613-275-2400, and fresh wings are available for dine-in or takeout.
Montague Township brings Christmas Trivia Night to Rosedale Hall starting at 7 p.m. Teams of up to six can play for prizes, with snacks, a cash bar, and registration required by email.
And the Smiths Falls Kinsmen host their own Wing Night from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kinsmen Pavilion in Lower Reach Park. It’s a great chance to enjoy good food and community fun.
The RCL Automotive Build a Mountain of Food Smiths Falls Blitz runs Saturday, November 22 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Jonsson’s Your Independent Grocer, Food Basics, The Garden Market and Giant Tiger. Donations support the Smiths Falls Community Food Bank.
Around the junior rinks:
Local Jr. A action begins tomorrow as the Smiths Falls Bears host Pembroke at 7:30. Carleton Place hosts Cornwall that same night.
Then Sunday Smiths Falls hosts Brockville at 4.
The Jr. Bears play in Casselman tonight at 7:30 and Carleton Place visits Ottawa west at 7:20.
Tomorrow, Perth hosts Ottawa West at 7:30.
Saturday has the Jr. Bears hosting Ottawa West at 3:30. Carleton Place welcomes Arnprior at 7:30.
Sunday sees Perth visit Arnprior and Carleton Place travel to Athens.
