Lanark County’s Megan Beson provided a list of 2026 Community Grant recipients to Council along with recommendations to change the policies of the program. She started with an explanation of what the Grant program does.
Beson provides the details on the focus of the grants and who decides where they go.
The grant working group also recommended changes to the grant policies to ensure its sustainability.
The following groups will receive funding in 2026 totalling $51,589.00

- Perth and District Agricultural Society
- Ukrainian Community of Lanark County
- Cornerstone Landing
- South Lanark Community Garden
- Lanark and District Maple Syrup Producers
- The Hospice Hub
- McDonalds Corners/Elphin Recreation and Arts
