The Township of Drummond/North Elmsley is inviting residents to weigh in on the 2026 municipal budget, with a public meeting set for Tuesday, December 2 at 3 p.m. Council will review comments, answer questions, and discuss proposed changes to operating costs, capital spending and municipal fees.
Residents are strongly encouraged to submit written comments before the meeting to help guide the discussion. Officials say public input plays an important role in shaping next year’s priorities and ensuring the budget reflects community needs.
Council plans to formally adopt the 2026 budget at its meeting on December 9 at 3 p.m.
Copies of the draft budget have been available since October 27 on the Township’s website, or by contacting the Treasurer directly. The Township says all residents are welcome to participate, review the documents, and share their feedback.
Local officials hope for strong turnout and community engagement as they finalize financial plans for the year ahead.
