Studio Theatre Perth presents The Lion in Winter, a gripping drama of family, power, and betrayal, directed by Chrystine Williams.

The Annual Art Show runs Thursday to Sunday at the Heritage House Museum, 11 Old Slys Rd in Smiths Falls. Hours are 10:30–4:30 Thursday and Friday, and 1–4 on the weekend. It continues until December 20.
SFDCI hosts its Arts & Tech Gala Thursday from 6–7:30 p.m. at 299 Percy St. Crafts, arts, music, drama, a silent auction and light refreshments.
Tomorrow, the Smiths Falls Legion on Main Street East is hosting Veterans Coffee from ten until noon. It’s open to military members, RCMP and their families.
Also Friday, Fish and Chips Night is on from four to seven at the Legion. You can dine in or grab takeout — it’s fifteen dollars for one piece and ten dollars for each extra.
A pre-party is happening at five o’clock at the Smiths Falls Community Theatre on Victoria Avenue, with music, hot chocolate and local vendors.

CCHL play sees Smiths Falls hosting Kemptville and Carleton Place welcoming Hawkesbury tomorrow. Both games are at 7:30.
Then Sunday Carleton Place hosts Renfrew at 3.

Tonight has the Smiths Falls Jr. Bears hosting Richmond at 7:30.
Perth welcomes Embrum at 7:30 tomorrow.
Saturday sees the Jr. Bears and Jr. Canadians go head to head at 7:30 in Carleton Place.
