Today, the Smiths Falls Legion on Main Street East is hosting Veterans Coffee from ten until noon. It’s open to military members, RCMP and their families.
Also today, Fish and Chips Night is on from four to seven at the Legion. You can dine in or grab takeout — it’s fifteen dollars for one piece and ten dollars for each extra.
A pre-party is happening today at five o’clock at the Smiths Falls Community Theatre on Victoria Avenue, with music, hot chocolate and local vendors.
Tomorrow, the big Downtown Cookie Crawl takes over downtown Smiths Falls from ten until four. You’ll collect cookies and treats as you visit local shops. Pre-sale boxes are twenty dollars, and regular tickets are twenty-five plus fees. Registration is online.
Also tomorrow, the Ladies Christmas Craft Party starts at ten a.m. at the Smiths Falls Free Methodist Church on County Road 29. It’s ten dollars per person and they ask that you RSVP.
The Westport Legion’s Christmas Market, bake sale and café runs tomorrow from ten until three at the Legion on Perth Road.
A Christmas Makers Market is on tomorrow from ten to four at the Merrickville Community Centre, featuring handmade gifts, art, crafts and seasonal items.
The Beckwith Recreation Complex is hosting its Christmas Craft Show tomorrow from ten to three on 9th Line, with artisans and seasonal vendors filling the indoor turf.
Smiths Falls Comicon is happening tomorrow from ten until three at the Econo Lodge on Centre Street. Admission is five dollars, and kids twelve and under get in free.
The third annual Carleton Place Christmas Market runs tomorrow from eleven to four at the Carleton Place Arena on Neelin Street. Admission is free, with holiday vendors and family-friendly fun.
The Town Square Tree Lighting takes place tomorrow from four-thirty to five in the heart of Smiths Falls on Beckwith Street North. Everyone’s welcome to come out for a festive kickoff.
The Pews will host a live-recording concert with the Keith Glass Band tomorrow night at seven-thirty on St. Lawrence Street. Tickets are twenty-five dollars plus fees online, or thirty-five at the door.
