The Town of Perth says Craig Street is almost ready to reopen, marking a major milestone in one of the community’s most closely watched construction projects.
In an update this week, the town said anyone driving past the area has likely noticed big changes.
The road is now freshly paved, the line painting is complete, and the sidewalks are finished. Crews are currently putting in the final touches, bringing the project into what officials call its “final chapter.”
While the town isn’t ready to announce an official opening date, the update signals that the long wait is nearly over.
Perth officials thanked residents and drivers for their patience throughout the construction period, noting that the end result will improve safety, accessibility, and traffic flow in the area.
