Southeast Public Health says it will continue to deliver priority services through the holiday season while adjusting office hours across the region.
In a media release, the health unit outlined a series of temporary closures affecting several communities in eastern Ontario. Offices in Perth and Gananoque will remain closed to the public during the holiday period.
In Brockville, the office will be closed from Wednesday, Dec. 24 until 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, and again from Wednesday, Dec. 31 until 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2. The Smiths Falls office will follow the same closure schedule.
The Kemptville office will be closed to the public from Monday, Dec. 22 until 8:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 5.
Southeast Public Health said residents reporting non-medical emergencies, outbreaks, or diseases of public health significance can still access after-hours assistance by phone, with dedicated lines available for each county.
The health unit says priority services will continue without interruption despite the adjusted hours.
