The Carleton Place & District Chamber of Commerce will mark International Women’s Day 2026 with a special evening event focused on mentorship and meaningful connection.
The event will take place March 4, 2026, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the The Grand Hotel, bringing together women from across the region for networking, discussion and practical insight.
This year’s theme, Mentorship Matters: Give to Gain, highlights mentorship as a two-way relationship that supports confidence, growth and long-term success. The evening will feature a keynote address from Shelagh Cummins, along with a panel of women leaders sharing diverse professional and personal experiences.
An interactive mentorship circle is also planned, designed to encourage open conversation and genuine connection among participants.
Chamber General Manager Jackie Kavanagh said the event is meant to move beyond inspiration and create space for real dialogue and shared learning.
The event is expected to attract business owners, professionals, emerging leaders and community builders from Carleton Place and surrounding areas. Early bird member pricing is available until Feb. 6, with limited tickets.
