The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad is asking for public help to find federal offender Tanner Sweet, who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his statutory release.
Police say Sweet, 31, is six feet tall, about 160 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and several tattoos, including script and a tear on his face, “Sweet” on his neck and multiple images across his body.
He is serving a two-year-and-one-day sentence for break and enter, theft of a motor vehicle, prohibited driving and multiple firearms-related offences.
Investigators say he is known to frequent Kaladar, west of Perth along highway 7, Belleville, Kingston, Tweed, and Madoc.
Police warn the offender may flee.
Anyone who sees Sweet or has information about his location is asked to contact the Provincial R.O.P.E. Squad or Crime Stoppers, or call 911 in an emergency.
