Here’s what’s up!
Today, the Lombardy Agricultural Society is serving up a delicious Shrove Tuesday pancake supper at Lombardy Hall. It runs from 4 until 7 this evening. Everyone’s welcome, and it’s by free-will donation, with proceeds supporting local agricultural and family programs right in the village.
Also today in Clayton, St. George’s Church is also hosting a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper from 4:30 until 6:30. Adults are 12 dollars, children five to 12 are six dollars, and little ones under five eat free. Takeout is available if you’d rather enjoy pancakes at home.
And today CFUW Perth and District is hosting a special Zoom presentation at 6:30 tonight featuring Madame Ambassador Leslie Scanlon. She’ll share stories from her career representing Canada abroad and her work supporting women internationally. Registration is required, and questions will be welcome during the virtual event.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, enjoy weekly bingo at the Perth Civitan Hall. Doors open at 5 p.m., and bingo starts at 7. Admission is free, and you can buy bingo cards when you arrive.
