The Mississippi River Health Alliance has unveiled its 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, marking its first new roadmap in nearly a decade.
The alliance says the plan comes at a critical time as communities grow and pressure on the healthcare system increases. Developed through broad consultation with staff, patients, families and community partners, the plan sets a long-term direction focused on providing quality care close to home.
President and CEO Brad Harrington said the strategy reflects what was heard from communities and creates a clear path forward. He said it focuses on strengthening access to care, supporting healthcare workers and ensuring services remain sustainable.
The plan is guided by five new core values and outlines four priorities, including improving access to care, supporting teams, modernizing processes and infrastructure, and protecting fiscal stability.
Board chair Michel Vermette said the strategy provides a foundation for responsible decision-making.
