A Mississippi Mills Township man is facing impaired driving charges after a vehicle was found in a ditch on Waba Road.
The Lanark County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police says officers were called by EMS just before 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026, about a vehicle in the ditch. Police attended the scene and located the vehicle.
The driver was later found at a local hospital. After speaking with him, officers arrested the 43-year-old and transported him to the OPP detachment in Arnprior for testing.
John Proc has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol, and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on April 13, 2026.
Police say his driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
