31-year-old man is facing several charges after an Ontario Provincial Police investigation into a person wanted on an arrest warrant.
In February 2026, the OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit launched an investigation into the individual. Officers from the Leeds County and Grenville County detachments assisted in the case, along with members of the OPP East Region Emergency Response Team and Canine Unit.
Police say the suspect was located and arrested on Tuesday, March 3.
During the arrest, officers seized more than 13 grams of suspected cocaine, over five grams of suspected ecstasy, more than $500 in Canadian and U.S. currency, and a cellphone.
Police say the arrest was carried out without incident.
Alexander Ubdegrove, 31, has been charged with three counts of operating a motor vehicle while prohibited under the Criminal Code.
He also faces two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and failing to comply with a probation order.
