The PEP Seniors Therapeutic Centre in Perth is inviting the public to an open house today from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Visitors can tour the day program space, meet staff and learn about services offered at the centre, located at 12 Elliot Street.
Scottish Country Dancers meet every Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at McMartin House, 125 Gore Street East in Perth. Led by experienced instructor Simone, the group welcomes new dancers of all levels. Dancing is done in soft shoes to lively jigs, reels, and traditional music.
A St. Patrick’s Day Dance will be held tomorrow at 8:00 pm, at Oso Hall in Sharbot Lake, featuring live music by Dean James. Hosted by Frontenac Masonic Lodge, tickets cost $20 in advance by calling (613) 583‑5570 or $25 at the door.
Westminster Presbyterian Church in Smiths Falls will host a St. Patrick’s Day supper tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $20 and must be ordered by March 12. The menu includes beef, potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert. Call 613-283-6987 or 613-283-7527 for tickets.
A St. Patrick’s Day party will be held tomorrow from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Civitan Club of Perth, 6787 County Road 43. The evening includes music by DJ Rylee Restoule, light food and a photo booth. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
A free community breakfast will take place tomorrow from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. George’s Church, 2786 Tatlock Road in Clayton. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy a warm meal together. Donations will be accepted but are not expected. Organizers say the event aims to bring the community together.
