A Carleton Place resident is facing impaired driving charges after a vehicle was found in a ditch in Tay Valley Township.
Lanark County OPP say officers responded to a complaint on Glen Tay Road early Sunday morning, March 15. Police arrived shortly after 4 a.m. and located the vehicle.
After speaking with the driver, officers arrested the woman and took her to the OPP detachment in Perth for testing.
46-year-old Dayna Vander Kloet is charged with operation while impaired and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit.
She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on May 4.
Police say her driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
