Residents in Perth may notice increased police activity on Thursday, April 2.
The RCMP National Emergency Response Team will be conducting a planned training exercise at the town’s water tower between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Officials say uniformed officers and staging activity will be visible in the area throughout the day. There is no threat to public safety.
The exercise is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination between emergency response agencies and improve familiarity with the community for future planning.
