The Carleton Place Downtown BIA and 92.3 WOW FM have partnered to give away a wedding this summer.
The “Say Yes, Carleton Place – Small Town Big Day” contest offers a full wedding experience and mini-moon valued at more than $10,000, while also highlighting the town’s growing reputation as a destination for meaningful celebrations.
BIA Coordinator Paisley Woods says the idea evolved over time into something bigger than originally planned.
Woods says the initiative brings together a wide range of local businesses, from florists and photographers to venues and hospitality providers, showcasing a strong sense of collaboration within the community.
The contest is open to all couples in our listening area including Smiths Falls, Perth, Renfrew… you name it.
Applications requiring a short video, photos and key details are now being accepted right here.
Participants must also listen for their name on-air and text to qualify.
Woods says the prize could make a real difference at a time when weddings are becoming more difficult to afford.
Finalists will be selected based on their applications, then the winner will be chosen by a vote by our listeners.
The winning couple will be announced live at Bridge Street Summerfest on July 25, capping off what organizers hope will be a joyful, community-driven celebration of love.
