Smiths Falls Police say an investigation into damage at several municipal buildings has led to charges against a Perth man.
Police allege a suspect intentionally blocked sewage drains in washrooms using foreign objects, including diapers, causing damage and service disruptions.
Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and identified a suspect.
As a result, 38-year-old Brian Stinson is charged with two counts of criminal mischief.
He was released from custody with conditions and a future court date. Police say the investigation began in February following reports of repeated damage.
The allegations have not been tested in court.
