The Smiths Falls Lions Club hosts a community meal today. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., with lunch served from noon to 1 p.m. Organizers say all are welcome to attend and enjoy a meal together as part of the club’s ongoing community outreach efforts.

A fish and chips night is planned tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Smiths Falls. Dine-in and takeout options are available, with pre-orders opening after 3 p.m. Organizers say proceeds support Legion activities while offering a popular community meal.
