Open Doors Mental Health will host in-person fundraising days at Independent Grocer locations in Carleton Place tomorrow and Perth Friday, supporting free mental health services for children, youth and families across Lanark County during Children’s Mental Health Week.
The Carleton Place and District Horticultural Society hosts a meeting tonight at Zion Memorial United Church, featuring horticulturist Nicole Bennett. She will share practical garden design tips, including native plants, edibles, and year-round interest. A member spotlight on May planting, plus refreshments and social time, will follow. All are welcome.
