William Dales, owner-operator of Smiths Falls Pedal and Paddle, says the business offers a wide range of rentals, including bicycles, e-bikes, paddle boards, canoes and kayaks.
Dales says the goal is to make outdoor fun easy, flexible and accessible for almost anyone.
Dales says rentals can be simple short outings in town, or longer trips where he drops off equipment and meets customers at the other end. He says many items are beginner-friendly, stable and easy to use.
The business also adds to Smiths Falls’ growing reputation as a destination known for wide variety of activities. Dales says he is happy to be a part of it.
Dales says visitors have come from across Ontario and around the world, while locals use the service to try something new before buying their own equipment.
Dales says Smiths Falls Pedal and Paddle can also include delivery and pickup, making it easier for people to plan trips beyond one launch point.
