Rural FASD will host its Family Day Red Shoes Run May 25 at Lower Reach Park in Smiths Falls. The event includes activities, food, games, music, yoga and a fun run. Organizers say the event promotes awareness and community support surrounding fetal alcohol spectrum disorder through family-friendly programming and participation.
A restored Poland Church near Lanark reopens as a community hub with a concert tonight, 7–9 p.m., doors 6. Singer-songwriter Julian Taylor performs. Tickets $50 via e-transfer; limited capacity. The Falls Food Hub in Smiths Falls offers community meals every Monday at Hanley Hall on McGill Street. The doors open at 11, with the meal served at noon. All are welcome.
