Drivers using Highway 511 in Lanark County should prepare for overnight delays beginning Tuesday.
Thomas Cavanagh Construction Company Limited will begin overnight paving work on Highway 511 starting about 800 metres south of Campbell’s Road and continuing north for roughly 3.4 kilometres.
The paving is scheduled for the evenings of Tuesday, May 26 through Thursday, May 28, with crews working nightly from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m.
One lane will remain open during construction, and a pilot vehicle will guide traffic safely through the work zone. Officials say the overnight schedule is intended to reduce impacts on daytime traffic.
