Lanark County OPP are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects following an investigation involving three stolen vehicles from the Greater Toronto Area.
Police say the investigation began in the early morning hours of June 15. The stolen vehicles were later found abandoned in the Ashton area, but the suspects fled on foot.
One man has been arrested, while two other male suspects remain outstanding.
OPP say an extensive search involving the Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team and Aviation Services has now ended and the area has been cleared.
Police do not believe there is any risk to public safety, but they are asking people not to approach the suspects if they are seen and to call police immediately.
Anyone with information on their identities or whereabouts is asked to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
