Two local men are facing charges after Lanark County OPP investigated an alleged break and enter at the Carleton Place public works yard.
Police say officers responded just before 9 p.m. on June 10 after a witness reported people trespassing in the area.
As a result of the investigation, 42-year-old Anthony Henderson of Tay Valley Township has been charged with break and enter and possession of a Schedule I substance, believed to be cocaine.
Forty-two-year-old Albert Wilson of Lanark Highlands Township has been charged with break and enter.
Both accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Sept. 14
