The Mississippi River Health Alliance is celebrating the people who help keep local healthcare running across Almonte, Carleton Place and Lanark County.
The organization held its 2026 Long Service Awards celebration on June 3 at Almonte General Hospital.
The event recognized staff, medical staff and recent retirees from across Almonte General Hospital, Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, Fairview Manor and Lanark County Paramedic Service.
Award recipients were honoured for milestone anniversaries ranging from five years to 40 years of service.
MRHA says the awards recognize the commitment, compassion and professionalism shown by workers across the organization. Officials say those efforts continue to strengthen healthcare for patients, residents, families and communities across the region.
Brad Harrington, president and CEO of the Mississippi River Health Alliance, says every year of service represents a person who has made a difference.
He says the celebration is not only about recognizing years on the job, but also the lasting impact those workers have had on the organization and the communities it serves.
Special recognition was given to Heather White, who was honoured for 40 years of dedication to healthcare within the MRHA.
The organization also recognized recent retirees for their contributions. MRHA says those retirees helped shape the health alliance and the local communities that rely on its services.
The Mississippi River Health Alliance says it is extending congratulations and gratitude to all 2026 Long Service Award recipients.
The organization says the celebration was a chance to pause and thank the people whose long careers have helped support local healthcare, from hospital care to long-term care and paramedic service across the region.
