There will be no report cards going out to parents of elementary school students in the Bluewater District School Board.
Director of Education Alanna Murray issued a letter to parents on Monday saying the current job action by teachers has made it impossible to complete the Term One report cards.
She is encouraging parents to contact their child’s teacher to find out how their child is progressing.
The Board says a letter will be put in the student’s Ontario Student Record stating that the report card was not completed due to the job action.
They also say all elementary schools in the Bluewater board will be closed next Monday (February 3rd) and Thursday (6th) as teachers intend on walking out on those days if there is no agreement reached.
