Today is the day Catholic school teachers in Ontario are off the job.
It is the latest in the series of job action by the four teachers unions in Ontario.
Elementary teachers in the Avon Maitland District School Board will also be taking part in today’s one-day strike by their union.
As well, high school teachers in a number of boards will also hit the picket lines.
Both elementary and secondary schools in the Bluewater District School Board are all open today.
