Now that Brucelea Haven is found to be in compliance once again, the real work now begins.
That according to Jill Knowlton, Bruce County’s acting Director of Long-Term Care, who says staff will have to make sure they will able to stay compliant over the course of the next year or so.
Knowlton says they received notice from the Ministry of Long-Term Care last week that the final compliance orders had been lifted and can soon begin admitting new residents.
The long term care facility in Walkerton had been barred from admitting new residents since last summer due to compliance issues.
