A West Perth resident is facing numerous driving related charges after he failed to stop for a police officer Wednesday afternoon in Wingham.
At approximately 2:38 p.m. a Huron County OPP officer observed a car travelling on John Street in Wingham without license plates.
The officer attempted to pull over the vehicle however the driver immediately hit the gas and failed to stop.
Within a few minutes another officer spotted the suspects entering a residence on Victoria Street.
The 36-year-old driver was taken into custody and was charged with Dangerous Operation, Flight From Peace Officer and Driving a Motor Vehicle with No Plates.
He will appear in court on June 29th.
